Things to consider :

Costume :

• In terms of costume, there will be a variety of outfits chosen in order to convey different emotions. The main emotion that I want to portray is femenine confidence and empowerment. I will do this through using elegant outfits that suggest class, power and confidence, and in contrast, I will include some “pop star” like outfits, which will add that sassy and mischievous side to her personality.

• In terms of the clothing, the following colors will be taken into consideration :

→ Black as it connotes : Mystery, elegance, nightlife,darkness feelings and is usually a safe choice, to contrast with her unsafe choice of her experience within her unhealthy relationship.

→ Red : Desire, desire for a new self, desire for empowerment, and love. Self love.

→ Yellow : Sickness, decay, and the fact that she is at her lowest point.

→ White : Purity, how pure she feels after overcoming her bad love experience, and how he feels backher sense of innocence and pure as the correct path has opened for her….

→ Blue : In order to represent her new liberty, and her “new life”, without negative vibes, and with a new stability and a calm atmosphere.

→ Fluorescent clothes could be used, in order to convey that “pop” vibe, as many pop artists including Dua Lipa, have worn several fluorescent outfits in several concerts, as it characterizes pop outfits in concerts. Therefore, it will add that pop element impression.

Make-up :

• Natural Make-up during the day filming will be a major thing, in order to create that connection with the audience, as the main target are young teenage girls, who do not have the time to spend ages on a fabulous make-up in order to look like their favorite pop star, as that will probably end in school lateness.

• Thin layer of foundation, constituted of a few concealer and foundation dots, and some few blush strikes. For the eyes, bronzer as eyeshadow, as well as around specific face areas, eyebrow gell and mascara. For the lips, a discrete lip gloss and a tiny touch of highlighter.

• For night scenes makeup → Slightly heavier make-up. This involves eyeliner, smokey eye eye eyeshadow, and maybe, red lips or a matte lipstick with overlined lips. This is to go with the mischievous side of the main character, whilst the other natural make-up enhances natural beauty and the innocent side of the female and main character.

Lighting and colour :

→ Lighting : Depends on which part of the song she is singing, certain type of lighting will be shown, such as natural lighting, high key lighting throughout this concept of her “new life”, and low key lighting to represent this conceptual idea of her “old” and “dark” life, in which she was not comfortable in her relationship.

→ Saturation : Similarly, the saturation will vary from high saturation to low saturation, as the character’s feelings progress from a lower point, to a recovered and “new equilibrium” point.

Location :

• Cities such as Madrid → Most of my music videos will be filmed in Madrid, as it counts with many places which will suit the pop genre.

Places within Madrid :

→ Ikono Madrid. Ikono is a modern art gallery in Madrid, which has several installations such as led lights room, mirror rooms, and many other modern rooms which have activities such as a big ball pool in which people can jump inside, and take original videos and pictures for their social media. All the lighting and props in the museum. Represent well the pop genre that I want to focus on.

→ Goya and Serrano streets. This is due to the tranquil atmosphere in comparison to other busier streets in the center, such as Gran via. In El barrio Salamanca, where Goya and Serrano are both located, there are many architectural buildings that are of personal interest for my music video.

→ Terraza RIU en plaza España. Probably at night. This is due to the marvelous overview of Madrid nightlife, sporting a vivid and happy atmosphere vibe, which represents the lyrics of “Don’t start now”, as the lyrics represent the regrowth of the girl after a breakup.

Beaches :

→ In order to represent the best life point of the main character, and in order to contrast with the city setting.

→ Valencia, Almería, Ibiza.

→ This will only be the case, if traveling is able to happen, due to Covid, dates, and many other factors.

Props :

→ Different colored and shaped sunglasses in order to create a different meaning

→ Different colored jewelry such as gold and silver, to match different colors and represent different emotions such as golden jewelry: More empowerment…

→ Different handbags for the different outfits

• Maybe some instruments to mimic music performing

• A car, in order to use and create several different effects and transitions

• Tis will make the audience identify with music hobbies, and will enhance the entertainment and increase the attention span
